Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA)
CLASSIFICATION: This position is full-time and non-exempt.
SALARY: Starting wage of $27.50 per hour.
DESCRIPTION: COVA’s Emergency Fund (EF) Program provides financial assistance to crime victims to help alleviate the financial hardships that may arise in the aftermath of a crime. The Emergency Fund Case Manager is responsible for the following: Review and process emergency fund applications to include communication with Victim Advocates; Participate in EF team meetings, staff meetings, and weekly supervision; Conduct trainings to agencies statewide, as requested; Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with other victim advocacy organizations, law enforcement, district attorneys’ offices, system and community-based victim advocates, etc.; Track and record all demographic and service provision data relating to applications; Participate in various meetings, committees, and local and statewide task-forces to represent COVA; Demonstrate a commitment to reaching marginalized and under-served community members; Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by the Emergency Fund Program Manager or Victim Services Director.
